Sally Smith-Hunter, 78, transitioned from this life on July 24, 2024 in Flower Mount, Texas. Visitation will be from 4pm to 6pm on Friday, August 2, 2024 in the chapel of Hester Central State Funeral Home, 811 Louise Anne Avenue, Monroe, Louisiana. Funeral services will be held at 12 pm on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at St. James Baptist Church #2, 2665 Richwood Road #2, Richwood, Louisiana. Burial will immediately follow at Richwood Memorial Gardens, 2705 Richwood  Road #2,  Richwood LA, Louisiana. 

Lift Us Up O Lord

Lift us up, strong Son of God, that we may see further; cleanse our eyes that we may see more clearly; draw us closer to yourself that we may know ourselves nearer to our beloved who are with you.  And while you prepare a place for us, prepare us for that happy place, that where they are, and you are, we too may be; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
