Rebecca Hall Modicue, 52, transitioned from this life on Saturday,  June 21, 2025, in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held 11 am to 1:50 pm on Saturday, July 12, 2025, in the chapel of Hester Central State Funeral Home, 811 Louise Anne Avenue, Monroe, LA. Funeral services will immediately follow the visitation at 2 pm in the chapel of Hester's. The burial will take place at Magnolia Cemetery located on DeSiard Street, Monroe, LA 

Miss Me, But let Me Go

When I come to the end of the road and the sun has set for me, I want no rites in a gloom-filled room, Why cry for a soul set free? Miss me a litter by not too long and not with your head bowed low. Remember the love that we once shared, miss me but let go, for this is a journey that we must all take, and each must go alone. It's all a part of the Master's plan, a step on the road to home. When you are lonely and sick at heart, go to the friends we know, and bury your sorrows in doing good deeds. Miss me, but let me go.
