Michael Wayne Dunn, 61, departed from this life on Saturday, August 5, 2023 in Monroe, LA. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Antioch Baptist Church, 310 S 24th St. Monroe, LA. at 1:00PM. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 18, 2023 from 1:00PM to 5:00PM at the chapel of Hester's Central State Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at Richwood Memorial Gardens under the direction of Hester Central State Funeral Home.

When you were a baby, I held you in my arms. when you were a child, I held you in my lap. when you were grown, I held you in my prayers. Now that you're gone, I hold you in my heart forever. Something will remind me, I never know just when. It might be something someone says and it all comes back again. the times we spent together, the happiness, the fun. Once again, I feel the pain of life without my son. It's said that time's a healer, I'm not sure this is true. There's not a day goes by, Son, that I don't cry for you.
