Mary Thomas, 68, departed this life on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 in Calhoun, Louisiana. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 18, 2025 from 4 PM to 6 PM at the chapel of Hester Central State Funeral Home, 811 Louise Anne Ave, Monroe, LA.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the chapel of Hester Central State Funeral Home. Burial will immediately follow at Richwood Memorial Gardens, 2705 Richwood Rd. #2, Richwood, LA.

Perhaps you aren't ready yet to have to say goodbye, Perhaps you thought of things you wish you said, well so have I. For one thing, I would have told you not to worry about me. I'm with the Lord in heaven now, You knew that 's where I'd be. I'm sorry that you're feeling sad, for I'm happy now. I've asked the Lord to ease your hurt, it's hard at the beginning but I know you'll make it through, I hope it helps to know that I'll be waiting for you.
