Visitation will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026 from 2pm to 6pm in the chapel of Hester's Central State Funeral Home 811 Louise Anne Avenue Monroe, LA. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at St. Joe Baptist Church 1445 HWY 15 South Rayville, LA. Burial will immediately follow at St. Luke Cemetery 285 Badger Road Rayville, LA.

To Those I Love

When I am hone, release me, let go.

I have so many things to see and do.

You mustn't tie yourself to me with tears

Be happy that we had so many years.

I gave you my love; you can only guess

how much you gave me in happiness.

I thank you for the love you each have shown, 

but now it's time I travel on alone,

So grieve a while for me, if grieve you must.

Then, let your grief be comforted by trust.

It's only for a while that we must part, 

so bless the memories within your heart.
