Linda F. Jones, 61, transitioned from this life on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, in Monroe LA. Funeral service will be held at 2PM on Saturday August 26, 2023, at Friendship Baptist Church, 4009 Wiley Street, Monroe, Louisiana. Burial will immediately follow at Magnolia cemetery, located on DeSiard Street, Monroe, Louisiana. Visitation will be held on Friday August 25, 2023, at the chapel of Hester Central State Funeral Home, 811 Louise Anne Avenue, Monroe, Louisiana from 3:00PM to 6:00PM. 

The Hand of God

My Christian friends sometimes life seems so hard; but don't fret my child you are in the hands of God. We worry about the things both small and large, and we forget who is in charge. Remember you are in the hands of God. Situations in life come and go, just like the tides in the ocean they ebb and flow. But as a child of the King we should always know that God is in Charge. My Christian friends I want you to know that as we grow in grace and love; keep in mind we have help from God above. So, when you feel lonely and think there are somethings in life you just can't get through. Just remember by and large you are in the hands of God; and he will always be there for you, you, and you.
