James Marie Walker, 79, transitioned from this life on Saturday, March 9, 2024, in Monroe, LA. Visitation will be from 3pm to 6pm Friday, March 22, 2024 in the chapel of Hester Central State Funeral Home, 811 Louise Anne Avenue, Monroe, LA. Funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Mt. Sania Baptist Church, 4010 Owl St., Monroe, LA. Burial will immediately follow at Richwood Memorial Gardens under the direction of Hester Central State Funeral Home, 811 Louise Anne Avenue, Monroe, LA. 

If you could See Me Now

My prayers have all been answered, I finally arrived. The healing that had been delayed has now been realized. No one's in a hurry, there's no schedule to keep. We're all enjoying Jesus, just sitting at His feet. If you could see me now, I'm walking streets of gold. If you could see me, now, I'm standing strong and whole. If you could see me now, you'd know I've seen Him face to face. If you could see me now, you'd know the pain is eased. You wouldn't want me to ever leave this place, if you could only see me now. My light and temporary trials have worked out for my good, to know it brought Him glory when I misunderstood. Though I've had my sorrows, they can never compare, what Jesus has in store for me, no language can share. You wouldn't want me to every leave this perfect place, if you could only see me now!
