Howard Smith, 65, transitioned from this life on February 24, 2023, in Monroe, LA. Funeral service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at the chapel of Hester Central State Funeral Home, 811 Louise Anne Ave, Monroe, LA. Burial will immediately follow at Richwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 2705 Richwood Road, Monroe, LA. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 10, 2023, from 3 PM to 6 PM at the chapel of Hester Central State Funeral Home. 

I know I have to let you go. How I will, I do not know. I know that's it's your time to die. What I don't know is how to say goodbye. I'll miss you so much, I don't know what to do. I guess I'll just end this poem with a goodbye and an I love you.
