Gloria Harris, 77, departed this life on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 in Jonesboro, Louisiana. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24,, 2025 from 4 PM to 6 PM at Higher Praise Church of God in Christ, Chatham, LA.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 12PM at Higher Praise Church of God in Christ 2064 Wild Oak Rd, Chatham LA 71226 Burial will immediately follow at Mt. Mariah Cemetery in Chatham LA.

Perhaps you aren't ready yet to have to say goodbye, Perhaps you thought of things you wish you said, well so have I. For one thing, I would have told you not to worry about me. I'm with the Lord in heaven now, You knew that 's where I'd be. I'm sorry that you're feeling sad, for I'm happy now. I've asked the Lord to ease your hurt, it's hard at the beginning but I know you'll make it through, I hope it helps to know that I'll be waiting for you.
