Funerals services will held at 11am on Monday, August 28, 2023 at Young's Chapel CME Church, 1512 Highway 144, Calhoun, Louisiana. Burial will immediately follow at Northeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, 2413 Highway 425, Rayville, Louisiana. 

Lift Us Up, O Lord

Lift us up, strong Song of God, that we may see further; cleanse our eyes that we may see more clearly; draw us closer to yourself that we may know ourselves nearer to our beloved who are with you. An while you prepare a place for us, prepare us for the happy place, that where they are, and you, we too may be; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
