David Ervin

David Ervin, 70, transitioned this life on August 6, 2022 in Monroe, Louisiana. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Hester's Central State Funeral Home, 811 Louise Anne Avenue, Monroe, Louisiana at 11 am on Saturday, August 20, 2022. Burial will immediately follow at Richwood Memorial Gardens, 2705 Richwood Road, #2, Monroe, Louisiana. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 19, 2022 from 1 pm to 6 pm in the chapel of Hester's Funeral Home. 

Do not stand at my grave and weep. I am not there, I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glint on snow, I am sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn rain.  When you wake in the morning hush, I am the swift, uplifting rush of quiet birds in circling flight. I  am the soft starlight at night.
