Clydell Pugh-Jones, 83, transitioned from this life on June 10, 2023 in Monroe, Louisiana. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at St. Timothy Baptist Church, 1710 Canary Street, Monroe, Louisiana. Burial will immediately follow at Richwood Memorial Gardens, 2705 Richwood Road #2, Monroe, Louisiana. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 16, 2023 from 2 pm to 6pm in the Chapel of Hester Central State Funeral Home, 811 Louise Anne Avenue, Monroe, Louisiana 71201, A Remembrance Celebration will be held on Friday, June 16, 2023 from 6pm to 7pm in Hester's Chapel following visitation. 

The Hand of God

My Christian friends sometimes life seems so hard; but don't fret my child you are in the hands of God. We worry about the things both small and large, and we forget who is in charge. Remember you are in the hands of God. Situations in life come and go, just like the tides in the ocean they ebb and flow. But as a child of the King we should always know that God is in Charge. My Christian friends I want you to know that as we grow in grace and love; keep in mind we have help from God above. So, when you feel lonely and think there are somethings in life you just can't get through. Just remember by and large you are in the hands of God; and he will always be there for you, you, and you.
