Visitation will be from 4pm to 6pm on Friday, November 14, 2025 in the chapel of Hester Central State Funeral Home, 811 Louise Anne Avenue, Monroe, Louisiana. Funeral service will be held at 12 pm on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at Logtown Baptist Church, 1910 Addie St., Monroe, LA. Burial will immediately follow at Union Baptist Church Cemetery, 4314 HWY 165 BYP, Bosco, Louisiana.

Miss Me, But let Me Go

When I come to the end of the road and the sun has set for me, I want no rites in a gloom-filled room, Why cry for a soul set free? Miss me a litter by not too long and not with your head bowed low. Remember the love that we once shared, miss me but let go, for this is a journey that we must all take, and each must go alone. It's all a part of the Master's plan, a step on the road to home. When you are lonely and sick at heart, go to the friends we know, and bury your sorrows in doing good deeds. Miss me, but let me go.
